Tomorrow we tear down my single stall 21 x 13' garage. The replacement will be a 3.5 stall, 21 x 40' (city won’t let me go deeper than 21', setback limit).
A little reflection as I cleared it out today. My house was built by a WWII veteran in 1954, the garage has mint green walls and pegboard, he lived in the house until about 1997 or so. I wish I had some period pics I am picturing a Chevy man, maybe Pontiac or Olds.
8' wide doors, 9' is pretty much the standard now, as you can see, the narrow door caused a little concern for the prior owners.
Aged wood is the best, oh well
Goodnight garage.

Do you plan on keeping some of that wood? Could make a good work bench

Yes, I am going to save a few of the larger pieces

Beautiful garage. But I fully support the bigly plan.

Great looking, but yeah, a little small for parking modern vehicles or working on anything.

Nice cozy garage, too bad about the city limits. Here out in the country I can make my whole property into a garage if I wanted :P
Love that old wood ceiling / roof

21' isn't too bad. Mine is 22' deep, and I could even park my crew cab Sierra in there if I replaced a workbench with shelves ... Which I'm not going to do, but I could!
